I really liked this book. It tells why Robin became an outlaw. It tells of many of his crimes as an outlaw, how he joined the King's service and how he died.

We are in Amarillo, TX. It is the home of The Big Texan restaurant. It is like a convection oven. We have not done anything yet. We just got here.

Howard Pyle's Book of Pirates

I am currently reading this book. It is about buccaneers, pirates and marooners. There's a difference. Bucaneers paved the way for pirates. And if you were caught by a marooner, big trouble. The book tells about how these guys took over cities and ransomed them and the people in them. It is very interesting. If you like history books you will probably like this book. I have just gotten to Blackbeard and I am looking forward to it. We are currently in Chillicothe, Missouri. Dan and Dom have been here before, it's my first time. We have been host to Nini, RC and Ellie. We haven't done very much. Dom wants to go to a local coffee shop. Chillicothe is the home of sliced white bread.

In Mattimeo, Matthias is still warrior of Redwall. He has a son named Mattimeo who is enslaved by Slager the Cruel, a fox. Matthias and Basil, Jess, Cheek the Otter, Orlando the Ax, LogaLog and Sir Harry the Muse. Set off to find him they find him as they fight rats yelling their battle cries: redwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllll, mossflowwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr, redwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllll, LLLLLLLoooooooogggggggggallllllllloooooooggggggg, Eulaliaaaaaaaaaaaaa, redwwwwaaaaaallllllllllllllllll. They go to Redwall.

We are in Amarillo, TX. I love Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas because of Braum’s. I should try to explain it to you. It is a restaurant but off to the side there is a fresh market that sells milk, ice cream, and stuff like that. Oh, and Amarillo, TX is home to the free (if eaten in 1 hour) 72oz steak meal which is the 72oz steak, 2buns, a 1 lb salad, and 1 lb of potatoes!!!!!!!! The current champ is Joey (Jaws) Chestnut. He started to eat and in 8 minutes 52 seconds the entire thing was gone. He is also the world hot dog eating champ. A 500 lb Siberian tiger ate it in 90 seconds then eyed the cook GULP. A 63 year old grandmother ate the meal in 1977.

In the second book of the Redwall series, Mossflower, Martin the Warrior is to go to Salamandastron to get Boar the Fighter to fix his sword and fight for Mossflower. Mossflower is the woodland home of Martin and his friends. These brave warriors are attacked by Searats! They fight valiantly against the Searats but Boar is killed! The Searats are horrible. Martin battles Tsarmina, the Wildcat Queen. She killed her father to get the throne and blamed her brother for it. When the fighting is over, Martin returns to a quiet life in the Abbey.

We are currently in Golden, Colorado. We are going to ride the city bus to the Denver Art Museum in the morning. The Stowaway is taking us there. I am a little excited about going to the art museum. I am a lot nervous about taking the bus.

We had a good time in Alliance, NE. We went back to Stained Glass Visions and made several Christmas gifts. I like to go there.The glass shop is in a haunted building that used to be a car dealership. We ride our bikes a lot in Alliance.

 I want to read all the Redwall books by Brian Jacques. Redwall, Mossflower, Mattimeo, Mariel of Redwall and  Salamandastron are the ones I have read. In Redwall Matthias is a mouse who has to help save his home from invading rats. He is to wield the sword of Martin the Warrior, but first he has to find it. He and his friends set off to find Martin’s sword. I love his battle cry which is “Redwaaaaaalllllll.” So now I will tell you where we are. We are in Chillicothe, MO. Which is where us 36 E and W meets US 65 N and S.  It is the birthplace of sliced bread. Their coffee shop is great! I love their smoothies.
