From Dan.

Last summer my two brothers, my sister and I decided that we were going to get hermit crabs. We were
in Galveston, Texas at that time so finding hermit crabs was no biggy, where to get them was a bigger problem. Petsmart, Petco and Surfstyle all charge four dollars for ONE CRAB! So we decided we'd only
get crabs if we could find crabs for under two dollars, we did find a place that sold crabs for around $1.50 to $4.50, so Cat asked Mom if we could get four crabs, Mom said, "Easier to get forgiveness than permission." So we picked four. We didn’t know half the stuff we know now, like there is about 100 different types of hermit crabs or that they live in trees. We did know, however, that the name hermit does not fit them because they live in colonies of up to 100, so if you get some, you should get at least two, preferably three. Mine has since died because it was not a purple pincher and it got lonely, so when we where in Galveston this year Mom got me a new one.

Here are some pictures I took of our crabs

Robo Joe

More from Dave.

For Christmas this year I got a Lego mindstorms set.
Here are some pictures of the robots I have made.

This is a yarn baller.
To make it work you press the orange button.

 This is it working

This is a humanoid that I copied the instructions that came with it.
In this video Robo Joe is avoiding the edge of a table with his ultrasonic sensor.
If it reads more than a set amount of inches to the ground it turns around.
